OUR Center has a variety of shifts for volunteers.

The Aspen Center for Childcare Development has opportunities for community members to volunteer. Each classroom has different needs based on the age of the children and their developmental milestones and needs. Group volunteering events can include field trips to local farms or to parks to educate the children on their community recreation opportunities and resources. Volunteer tasks include reading to children, playground monitoring, helping children in the garden, and overall assisting classroom teachers as needed.

OUR Center has a seasonal garden which provides us with additional food for our kitchen. We pride ourselves on being able to provide fresh nutritious food, even more so when it’s from our own garden! Our garden is run by volunteers and when we get those fresh vegetables it makes the day even brighter. For the last few years, the garden has provided over 500 pounds of produce to use in the Cafe and Market!

For any tech savvy volunteers or more administrative focused, we also have assistance in the offices with tasks such as data entry and more.
