Clothing Bank

Another segment of the Basics Needs Program, the Clothing Bank provides good donated clothing, bed linens, and kitchenware to those in need. Volunteers sort thousands of donated items each week, and local businesses generously donate new clothing. Items such as scout uniforms and sports equipment are set aside for low-income groups. The Clothing Bank assists over 376 families each month.

In 2011, the OUR Center filled clothing requests for 16,922 individuals with over 107,202 items of clothing.

Furniture & large appliance matching

We provide a matching service for furniture and large appliance donations. Please call 303-772-7773 to place items on our matching list. Clients register for needed items through the Clothing Bank. We cannot accept drop-off of these items at any of our locations. When a needed item becomes available, the client is notified and given the name of the donor to contact to arrange for pick-up. There is no guarantee as to the condition of the item(s), but we will pass on information provided by the donor. The donor may obtain an in-kind receipt once the transaction has been completed by calling the Clothing Bank Coordinator at #303-772-7773.
