Losing a job is a difficult and often scary situation. But there is good news, and that is that help is available right here in your community! That’s why the OUR Center, El Comite de Longmont, and Workforce Boulder County have created a one-day event on Friday, February 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. designed to help you assess your situation and understand all of community resources that are available to help you and your family with basic needs as you seek new employment. Event Details: -Hear about the vast range of community services here in Boulder County; -Meet one-on-one with caseworkers and counselors who can help get you started; -Assess and adjust your household budget through your period of unemployment. Please join us at the future home of the OUR Center (the former Wickes Lumber Building at 220 Collyer Street in Longmont)! This important event is for anyone in Boulder County who is unemployed and who needs help—today or tomorrow. Free breakfast weekdays (9:30-10:30) and free hot lunch 7 days/week (11:30-1:00). Food pantry distributes food via voucher system to residents of the St. Vrain Valley. Donations of food and personal care items are accepted at this facility.

Warming Center
(temporary emergency shelter in severe winter weather)

Staff and volunteers provide food vouchers, rent and utility assistance, local transportation, minor medical prescriptions, emergency shelter referrals, budget counseling, and agency information. The Volunteer Program Office coordinates volunteer needs for all facilities. Donations of cash and gift cards are accepted at this facility.
