Save the Date: Empty Bowls 2012

\"\"The holidays have just passed and that means many things here at the OUR Center. One thing it means is that Empty Bowls will be here before we know it!

For those who may not know, Empty Bowls is the OUR Center\'s signature event. Now in its 9th year, this popular event attracts hundreds of people from throughout the comm\"\"unity and raises much-needed funds for OUR food program.

Free breakfast weekdays (9:30-10:30) and free hot lunch 7 days/week (11:30-1:00). Food pantry distributes food via voucher system to residents of the St. Vrain Valley. Donations of food and personal care items are accepted at this facility.

Warming Center
(temporary emergency shelter in severe winter weather)

Temporary, nighttime shelter, meals, and referrals for adults who are homeless in severe winter weather (when temperature is 30 degrees or below and wet).

Staff and volunteers provide food vouchers, rent and utility assistance, local transportation, minor medical prescriptions, emergency shelter referrals, budget counseling, and agency information. The Volunteer Program Office coordinates volunteer needs for all facilities. Donations of cash and gift cards are accepted at this facility.
Hours 8:00 to 4:00 weekdays.
Child Care Center
(Infant, Toddlers, Pre-School, and Pre-K Programs)

High-quality childcare and preschool education is provided for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years. Fees based on parent income. Capacity is 60 children. Qualistar certified.
