Did You Know? The OUR Center served over 132,000 hot, nutritious meals in 2010 to those who otherwise may have had to go without.

Everywhere we hear of the economic uncertainty facing so many. At the OUR Center, we see firsthand the reality of those living marginally and having to make difficult decisions on how to maintain their basic needs such as food, clothing, and housing. In our food program alone, we are seeing 200 more families per month than this time last year and regularly serve over 360 meals per day to those in need.

You can support the Hot Meal Program by becoming a Hot Lunch Sponsor with a contribution of $200 per month. A sponsor who commits to an entire 12 months will have their name placed on our Hot Lunch Sponsorship sign in our Hospitality Center, 250 3rd Avenue. We are happy to invoice you monthly for the cost of the sponsorship, or you may use a debit/credit card for us to charge monthly. If you prefer, you may make a lump sum payment for the entire year. In addition to providing financial support of this program, we invite any sponsor to volunteer one day a month or more to help serve a meal. Breakfast is served from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. each weekday (excluding holidays) and our hot lunch program is available 11:30 to 1:00 daily.
